Sonet Communications, a leader in network communications infrastructure and IT asset management has now completed the takeover of Digital Wiring. Sonet is delighted to announce the handover of Digital Wiring, one of the pioneers of data networking who have provided Network Communication Services and UPS systems since 1987 to business customers throughout the UK and Ireland.
Sonet is a reputed connectivity and digital data destruction company with services including network infrastructure, data cabling, telecommunications, data destruction and end of use IT asset management solutions. Formed in 2002 into the communications sector and expanding its reach in 2016 to include Data Destruction. The addition of Digital Wiring to the Sonet family brings with it the ability to roll out UPS installation and electrical certification to support our new and existing clients utilizing the skills and knowledgebase of their team who we welcome to ours.
There has been a phased handover during the last six months to avoid any disruption to existing clients. David Camlin outgoing director of Digital Wiring had this to say, “We have appointed two new Directors, Darren Gibson and Darren McCartney, who bring many years’ experience in the Telecoms and Data Networking Industry through their existing companies Sonet Communications and Indigo Facilities Solutions. This acquisition has brought an opportunity for Sonet to expand and allowed Mr Camlin to move on with new ventures. Sonet would like to thank Mr Camlin for his help in this seamless transfer of all services.”

The organization structure says the Directors of Sonet will remain the same and there will be no changes in the roles of management. A new separate website will go live for Digital Wiring in the coming months.
