Grand Opera House Refurbishment
Sonet is proud to have been involved in the £12.2 million restoration and refurbishment of the Grand Opera House Belfast.
The project included restoration and conservation of the historical fabric of the building, replacement of internal fixtures and fittings, a complete remodelling of the public spaces, and a full upgrade of the technical infrastructure to exceed the expectations of any touring theatre company.

Our team terminated and tested fibre optics and Cat6 end point connections for data communication infrastructure to lighting, sound, telephony, and interactive theatre systems.
Sonet has a wealth of experience of working within heritage buildings and buildings of historical or cultural significance, including Hillsborough Castle, Hilton Paris Opera, and public buildings in Europe and Asia. Planning and proposals are designed from the outset to avoid harm with additional information and training for our on-site team. The aim is to leave zero visible footprint, and industry leading connectivity for the staff patrons of these venues.
